Marisa Wikramanayake is a twenty six year old freelance editor, writer and journalist based in Fremantle (Perth), Western Australia. When she isn't writing for BC, she writes science articles for Science Network WA, music reviews for RTR FM and edits anything that comes her way. Her first book was published when she was 17 and she has lived in three different countries on three different continents.
When she has free time, she cooks, reads, plays DOS based adventure games and plays the drums in an indie rock band. She occasionally draws something of merit. Other creative stuff in the pipeline at the moment include a literary novel, a mystery novel, two plays, one film script, a collection of poetry and possibly a coffee table book somewhere. When she gets down to writing anything, she promises to let you know.
