The name, is Jay Blundell! @epixx_Jb
I love to game the crap out of my week, which leads me to frequently post my thoughts and opinions to you all, in topics related to the video gaming industry. I'm a proud owner of a gaming PC and the new Xbox 360, which take up a lot of my time on my free days! My favourite genre has to be the first person shooter, however, real time strategy is becoming my #1 favourite, once again; first person shooters are getting a bit boring, and.. they're churned out now, which makes me a sad panda.
I started my own blog back in December, so I could vent my views to people on a bigger stage, to spark debates and to spread some good and bad news, in regards to the latest and greatest titles. I've always wanted to start writing, for real.. so I did something about it, as I am constantly having discussions with people about new and old titles and consoles, and I've always got a lot to say, so that was the push right there.
Considering I'm going to be basing my posts on gaming, I will give you a quick shakedown of my gaming history. I've been an avid fan of video gaming, ever since the big, grey block of a console, called the Nintendo Entertainment System, which was released back in 1984! My favourite games for the NES has to be Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt, with the orange gun, and all. From then, I pretty much got almost every major console that came out, apart from the Dreamcast, as I used to just go around to my friends house and play that, mostly on House of the Dead 2! I'm a massive fan of online multiplayer gaming now, and my experience with that started in 2003, when Activision and Infinity Ward got the ball rolling with their Call of Duty franchise on the PC. It was an epic release, and a thoroughly entertaining game, which had me hooked within ten minutes of joining my first server. This compelled me to build a gaming PC, and to make sure it was fully upgraded on all fronts, to keep up with the times and the titles. I've made a lot of life-long friends through multiplayer gaming, specifically from Call of Duty clans, and I think online gaming is an incredible and beneficial feature, and it always will be.
Before I waffle on a bit too much, all I have left to say to you all is that I hope you enjoy my news blasts, rants and reviews on everything that is gaming, as much as I will enjoy it; Maybe we can start some epic debates.
Jay.
