Based in the Chicago area, Zahn's adventures have been varied. He's appeared as a music expert on CNN; written comic books; worked as an actor in television, film, and commercials; written screenplays; and has performed in bands.
Recent 2012 projects for James have included direction and editing on music videos, lyric videos, and album trailers for FEAR FACTORY, DIRGE WITHIN, PRODUCT OF HATE, and others.
Zahn has been a certified audiophile since his teens, collecting music on many formats since the early 1990's. The first band he interviewed was FAITH NO MORE back in 1992. James was just 15 at the time.
