I am a happily married mother of an occasionally exasperating but always lovable two year old little man whose name is Jakob. As an LCSW-C and LCADC, I spend my work hours managing a residential addictions treatment facility for women and children. Although incredibly fulfilling, my chosen profession is psychologically demanding. As a result, I notice an ever increasing desire to spend time away from the complexities of human relationships by exploring my interests and hobbies in solitude. Writing has provided has provided just such an outlet for me.
