GutterCandy comprises the bi-coastal writing duo of Chris "Gutter" Rose (Vancouver, British Columbia) and Johnny "Gutter" Walker (New York City).
Johnny Walker (Black) was a Contributing Editor at the seminal online rock magazine, Addicted To Noise / Sonicnet, from 1995-2001. His work has also appeared in Rolling Stone.com, Popmatters, VH1.com, Request, Canoe, and many other publications. His choices for the top albums of each year appear in the Village Voice's famous Pazz and Jop Poll annually. Walker is also an avid boxing fan and writes about the sport for Boxing Insider and Bleacher Report.
Chris Rose is angry, ill and as ugly as sin.... A Vancouver resident since 1992 and sporadic rock crit contributor since the days of Web 1.0 - Chris's work has appeared in Fazer Magazine, The Vibe and Addicted to Noise.
