I earned my doctorate in Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University in 2010. I earned my masters in educational administration in 2004 and my Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University.
Currently, I am a principal at an elementary school in the North Texas area. This is my fifth year as an administrator.
Previously, I have worked as a social studies teacher. I taught world history and government in an environment committed to the integration of technology and instruction, while focusing a variety of strategies that supported specialty programs.
I have also worked as a grant coordinator for the social studies department in the Fort Worth Independent School District. My primary function was management of a grant from the Department of Education aimed at fostering the development of teacher knowledge in United States History in grades 5, 8, and 11.
