Since 1991, Charlie has been interviewing stars like Ernest Borgnine, Mickey Rooney, Shirley Jones, Bruce Dern, and Jack Palance. In 1992, Charlie began interviewing the stars at the National Festival of the West, and since then has been handling the celebrity panels at the National Festival, as well as the Wild West Festival in Phoenix, AZ. Charlie has written two books on the subject of western film: The Legends Live On: Interviews with the Cowboy Stars of the Silver Screen, and Riding the Hollywood Trail: Tales of the Silver Screen Cowboys.
