With the “Grandest Stage of Them All” WrestleMania 29 just hours away, here’s my expected outcomes of the 10 scheduled matches.
Wade Barrett Vs. Mike “The Miz” Mizanin (IC Championship, Dark match)
This match will be the Dark Match/Preshow match). The match is expected to be energetic and both superstars might set up an excellent match. “The Miz” has earlier proved and showed to the world that he is a quality professional wrestler. After his WWE Championship reign, he was mostly neglected. This is a good opportunity to hand over the title to Miz and start “The Miz” Era.
Winner –> “The Miz”
Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) Vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston (w/ AJ Lee) for the WWE Tag Team Championship
This match is said to officially kick off WrestleMania 29. Team Hell No are expected to retain their championship as there is a more shining gold waiting for Dolph Ziggler. Off-course it’s the WH Championship. (More on that match later.)
Winner –> Team Hell No
The Undertaker Vs. CM Punk
With it now being somewhat confirmed that the Undertaker will be wrestling at WrestleMania 30, there is not much chance of him losing the streak against the “Straight Edge Superstar”. Also predicting the future outcome, Punk might come out on next Monday Night Raw and announce, “I QUIT”.
Winner –> The Undertaker
The Rock Vs. John Cena (WWE Championship)
Cena is the favorite for the match, as there is no point in keeping the title in hands of “The Champ”, who just fights with words and catch phrases. Also for last couple of years, the so-called “Champ” has been reduced to “Fruity Pebbles”. Well after WM-29, Cena can finally say with pride, “The Champ is HERE”. The only chance when Cena loses is when WWE thinks to recreate the “Stone Cold” Steve Austin-The Rock scenario where it took the Brahma Bull three WrestleManias to defeat Austin. But this move might result into many fans losing faith in WWE. Hence, it better hope for Cena to win.
Winner –> John Cena
Alberto Del Rio Vs. Jack Swagger (WH Championship Match)
Whoever wins between these two might have only a few seconds to rejoice, as “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler is expected to cash in his “Money in the Bank Contract” successfully to become the new WH Champion. He might also take a little help from Big E to become the champion.
Winner –> Swagger [Ziggler also cashes in his money in the bank, with help of Big E, and hence become the new WH Champion.]
Brock Lesnar Vs. Triple H
The match between these two warriors is truly unpredictable. Keeping in mind Lesnar’s two-year contract with the company. WWE should have planned something better for the former UFC Champion. So Lesnar might start the journey with ending the career of “The Game” (aka “Triple H”). After WrestleMania, Lesnar’s hands will slowly try to reach out for the WWE title. Also, eyes will be set on Shawn Micheals, who stands in “The Game’s” corner. The HBK (Heartbreak Kid) might be a subject of “Life and Death” for HHH and hence he must be the one who should be looked after.
Winner –> Brock Lesnar
Sheamus, Randy Orton & Big Show Vs. The Shield
This match will truly be a “Jaws Dropped Match” for the WWE Fans. Orton is expected to turn on his own team with either RKO-ing Sheamus or both. Further WWE fans might even be shocked if they know that Orton is the leader of Shield. Orton joining The Shield will trigger a Tsunami among the WWE Universe.
Winner –> The Shield
