I’d like to welcome Jus Accardo to share the beauty of the season with us.  Jus Accardo is the author of young adult paranormal romance and urban fantasy fiction. A native New Yorker, she lives in the middle of nowhere with her husband, three dogs, and sometimes guard bear, Oswald. Her first book, Touch, is out now from Entangled Publishing.

Favorite Holiday tradition?
Baking cookies. My mom and I make a ton of cookies to give out every year. We chill at my place, get the fire going, and listen to all kinds of xmas music. I look forward to it every year 🙂

Favorite childhood toy?
I had this huge stuffed horse named Ralph. He was a pinto 🙂

Favorite childhood game?
Hide and seek. Hell, it’s still one of my faves!

Snowball fight or making snow families?

Snowball fights all the way. Build up a snow wall with Mom’s loaf pans and unleash slushy hell!

Sleigh rides, sledding or skiing?

Well, I’ve never been on a sleigh ride, and I’ve been forbidden to ever ski (I’m the world’s biggest klutz) so gonna have to go with sledding!

Favorite Holiday song?

“Dominick the Donkey”!

Favorite holiday movie?
White Christmas.

Favorite holiday story to read?

I can’t really say I have one. I think I need to start a new tradition…

Snow on holiday eve or just a chill in the air?
Snow on the ground, but clear roads. We have people come from all over and one year we had this horrible storm. A lot of them couldn’t get through. Perfection would be if it snowed the day before the holiday. Then it would still be white and pretty the next day!

Real tree or artificial? Green or white?

I’d love a real one, but I have fam that’s allergic, so fake it is, but definitely green. The only white tree I’ve ever seen that I didn’t hate was my grandmother’s. It was amazing. The rest? Ick…

What do you do holiday eve?

We do the traditional Italian fish (and chicken because I’m allergic to fish!) dinner. We listen to Christmas music and play games. It’s great.

What are your holiday plans this year?
Same as always 🙂 I have 24 people coming xmas day, and a handful coming xmas eve.  Three days before, I’ll start cooking and come up for air sometime on the 26th. It’s chaos and it’s tiring, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

What’s the one holiday dish your family can’t go without?
I have this corn bread pudding recipe that everyone loves. A few years ago I didn’t make it and everyone flipped. Last time I try that, lol.

Holiday party tip?
Prepare whatever you can ahead. Chop things and store them in the fridge. Huge time saver!

Favorite holiday decoration?
Lights! I LOVE lights. The multi colored ones. I have them around every doorway and along the living room ceiling.

Please share some magical holiday memories?
When I was little, the family used to gather at my aunt and uncle’s house in Queens on Christmas Eve. I remember loving it because I got to stay up so late, lol. My uncle dressed up as Santa, and we had tons of food and

Wrap, gift bag or bow & go?

Hmm…Depends on what’s inside 😉

Gifts or gift cards?
Both are nice, but you really can’t beat the awesomeness of unwrapping a box and not knowing what’s inside!

Do you eat fruitcake?
Oh, hell no.

Do you head to the movies on the 25th?
Nope. I usually have between 15 and 25 people. I think they might be upset if I skipped out, lol.
What’s in your stocking? *wink*
Toes! Sorry, couldn’t resist 😀

What do you want in your stocking? *saucy wink aka swink*
Hmmm… The name of the guy on the TOUCH cover would be nice!

Do you head out on the 26th into the madness to exchange or shop for anything?
Nah. I stay in where it’s nice and warm (and safe) and snuggle up with my guy and the dogs by the fire.

Thank you so much. Ah, Jus… please pass my info along to the Touch cover model. I think he needs a little caramel in his life. *laughing*

Happy Holidays from my house to yours!
