Kenyan authorities announced on September 5 that terrorists from Somalia with alleged ties to al Qaeda planned three bomb attacks in Nairobi while Hillary Clinton was there, August 4 – 7.
Electronic communications between the Nairobi terror cell and their handlers in Somalia were intercepted by Kenyan anti-terror investigators.
The plot, which was stopped by Kenyan security officials, was in the final stages, and threatened the life of the Secretary of State. Terrorists with links to the al Shabaab group were planning to bomb the Hotel InterContinental where Hillary Clinton was staying. They were also planning to bomb the Kencom Bus Stage, and the Hilton Hotel.
The masterminds of the attack were in contact with Saleh Nabhan, one of the FBI’s most wanted. His personal assistant, Anas, is alleged to have been coordinating the plot.
Five suspects, all Somalis, were arrested, including one carrying a Danish passport with forged Danish identity papers. Danish officials have no knowledge of the individual.
According to one Kenyan official:
While in the past the real target of the attacks has been Western interests, the al Qaeda leadership has since made Kenya a new target. So serious is the threat that during the Agoa meeting, the Al Qaeda intended to strike at the heart of Nairobi during the rush hours.
Why is the mainstream media ignoring the fact that there was an al Qaeda plot to kill Hillary Clinton? When someone of Hilllary Clinton's status is the subject of a alleged foiled terrorist plot, it should be a major front page story.
Hillary Clinton is a former First Lady of the United States. She is a former United States Senator. She is the Secretary of State, which in previous administrations would make her the most powerful diplomat in the world. Hillary Clinton is allegedly considering a resignation of her position to run for the Democratic nomination for Governor of New York.
Why is this story being ignored?
To date, with the exception of a handful of international publications, the Examiner on-line publications, and a few blogs, there is nothing about the al Qaeda plot to assassinate Hillary Clinton in the media at all. Why?
