Who Will Die On Desperate Housewives?

After a slow start to the season, Desperate Housewives has finally rebounded in the ratings as it took the top spot Sunday night with 21 million viewers, up 30% from the previous week. And given the previews for the next episode, something tells me they'll be even higher next week.

The first two episodes of the season were a bit underwhelming — same with Housewives' ex-sister show Grey's Anatomy. The plotlines were a little weak, the stories didn't mesh well together, and the overall writing just wasn't very crisp. I didn't care about Bree's wedding, watching Susan shave Mike bored me, and Gabrielle hooking up with John the gardener was completely pointless.

The only halfway decent story was the boiling feud Hostage.jpgbetween Lynette and arch rival Nora. The conflict is set in reality, and both Kiersten Warren and Felicity Huffman do cat fights so damn well. And I have one thing to say about Lynette's kicking-the-door-down scene from last week — FIERCE!

The lovely Laurie Metcalfe is heating up Wisteria Lane next week with the much talked about "hostage", which is bound to be the hottest topic at the watercooler come Monday morning.

We were already told before the season started that one of the housewives will die this season and something tells me it'll happen in this episode. I'm saying for the record right now — if Lynette dies — I'm gonna be on my floor, bawling all night.

Part of me wants the homewrecking witch Nora to finally get what's coming to her — but at the same time, I want it to come straight from the sharp end of Lynette's heel — not some crazy woman's cheap pistol.

Okay, by the promo. Susan’s daughter Julie is taken hostage. So are Lynette and Nora? Gabrielle doesn’t seem to be. yes, Laurie Metcalfe is there too. My guess,(and this is only a guess) would be either Julie or Laurie Metcalfe’s character.

If they kill Julie my head will explode.

Please be Nora. Please be Nora. Please be Nora.

Well my friend, your wish was granted…Nora the witch is dead. I too was hoping she would disappear. She annoyed the heck out of me…not just her character, but her whole look. I can’t put my finger on it…I feel sad for her little girl, but I’m sure she’ll be well taken care of. What an intense episode. It’s about time…DH was getting kind of weak. Can’t wait until next week!

I guess the writer’s decided they couldn’t do much more with Nora so might as well kill her off. No way would they kill off Lynnette.

nora was so funny. SHe made lynette funny, The actress that played her was also good. Even when she was dying she was funny. Its all lynettes fault she died.
