September’s here, and so is the Virtual Console again! nice to see it back, and with a nice game this week. Oh, and there’s a few other games for the DSi and Wii, too, but they kind of pale in comparison to the Virtual Console offering this week.

This week’s titles are as follows:

On DSiWare this week, we have Simply Mahjong (Engine Software, 1 player, 200 DSi Points), My Exotic Farm (BiP Media, 1-2 players, 200 DSi Points) and Music on: Acoustic Guitar Publisher: (Abylight, 1 player, 200 DSi Points). Simply Mahjong is another mahjong game. My Exotic Farm is a farm simulation game. Music on: Acoustic Guitar is an app that’s supposed to help you learn acoustic guitar and play a digital one on your DSi.

WiiWare has one title this week: Fenimore Fillmore “The Westerner” (Revistronic, 1 player, 1,000 Wii Points). Fenimore Fillmore “The Westerner” is a port of a 2004 PC title. Yep, you read that right, and it seems to show its age a bit, sadly.

The Virtual Console brings us Samurai Shodown III (NEOGEO, 1-2 players, 900 Wii Points). Samurai Shodown III is the third game in the series to be released on the Virtual Console, and much like the others, is very fun and great if you’ve got buddies who like to come over and play some fighting games. Ah, brings back such sweet memories …

Samurai Shodown III was released on the Japanese Virtual Console in April and on the PAL Virtual Console last week. It, along with Fenimore Fillmore “The Westerner”, is available for download off the Wii Shop Channel, while Simply Mahjong, My Exotic Farm and Music on: Acoustic Guitar are available for download off the DSi Shop Channel.

Check back next week for the latest round of digital releases for the Wii and DSi. Until then, happy gaming!
