On February 16, in celebration of Clint Eastwood's amazing 35-year partnership with the studio, Warner Bros Pictures released the much awaited box set collection, Clint Eastwood: 35 Films 35 Years at Warner Bros. It contains the entire DVD catalog of movies Eastwood made (1968-2008), both as actor and as director, during his 35 years with the motion picture company.

The set of 19 DVDs is packaged like a photo album and comes in a gift box ready for display. It features all 34 of the films Clint Eastwood made during his tenure at Warner Bros.

Best known for his portrayal of intense, rebellious, and unapologetically smart-ass characters, it's refreshing to hear his thoughtful wisdom. In a scene from the included documentary The Eastwood Factor, Clint Eastwood relaxes in his home, a departure from his normally stringent privacy protocol, and discusses his failed attempts at re-writing Unforgiven with humor and unexpected humility. In yet another clip, he discusses making the difficult noir film Mystic River (2003).

Also included is a booklet of Eastwood memoirs, an overview of his career and his entire filmograghy, with photos and written commentary on the films he has made at Warner Bros. This booklet is a condensed version of the larger book Clint: A Retrospective by Richard Schickel. The introduction was written by Eastwood himself. In it, he shares his influences, goals, and his personal philosophies on filmmaking: "I certainly don't believe in ratcheting up everybody's anxiety when the goal is simply to make the best movie possible." The booklet also contains interesting discussions about individual characters, plots, and filmmaking from Clint Eastwood and the people who have worked with the legendary actor/director.

The 35th film in the collection is the documentary The Eastwood Factor by longtime friend, critic, and author, Richard Schickel. The Eastwood Factor takes a personal look at Eastwood's life and career. Eastwood speaks candidly about his life in the film industry, from his first movie with Warner Bros. (Where Eagles Dare, 1968) to his permanent move to Warner's in 1971 with Dirty Harry and mentions of his directorial debut, Play Misty For Me (1971, Universal Studios). It also includes Eastwood's personal insight into Oscar winners Unforgiven (1992) and Million Dollar Baby (2004). The documentary also includes rare photos, letters, film footage, and conversations with people who have worked with him over the years.
