Godzilla fans like monstrous prizes don’t they? Well, they are certainly getting what they asked for with over 250 such beasts to win from Classic Media in the launch of the “Return to the King of the Monsters Hometown” Sweepstakes.
Classic Media is giving away these huge awards to celebrate the release of Gojira on DVD. The contest runs August 16, 2006 through September 16, 2006. What’s more is they are awarding a Sony PSP every day for the duration of the contest. Fifty Gojira/Godzilla: King of the Monsters DVD sets and 200 limited edition Gojira DVD posters are up for grabs.
But the king of monsters gift is an eight day, seven night trip to Japan. This trip for two includes travel and first-class accommodations because Godzilla wants to show you his hometown.
Gojira is the original 1954 unedited Japanese version of Godzilla: King of the Monsters. September 5th brings Gojira to DVD for the first time ever in the U.S. Not only that, but the two-disc set will also include the American Godzilla starring Raymond Burr. That’s right Godzilla fans, you will have a DVD set with not one, but two versions of the movie for all your monstrous pleasure.
