By now I am sure that many of you have seen that mysterious trailer that ran in front of Transformers. It has no title, save for the project name Cloverfield, which may or may not have anything to do with the movie. It is being produced by JJ Abrams, who made his big screen directorial debut last year with M:I:III, and is currently working on a Star Trek project. Anyway, Matt Reeves, a past collaborator on Abrams television projects (Felicity, Alias), is directing this fast-becoming-interesting film.
Not much seems to be known outside the fact that the trailer seems to promise some monstrous mayhem. The trailer is shown entirely by camcorder footage, a style which is rumored to comprise the entire film. It is a fascinating teaser that does not give all that much information, yet has an incredible "What the...?" feel that is getting everyone talking. There is talk of sea creatures, Cthulhu, Lovecraft, and the Elders.
Some have questioned whether or not an Abrams project deserves this amount of secrecy and hype so far in advance of its January opening. All I have to say is, why not? It has gotten people excited and talking about a project that is very secret and could get people to a theater on a cold mid-January day. All good things.
Recently, Abrams gave a call to Harry Knowles of Ain't it Cool News to give him a lowdown on some of what is going on. You see, people are talking about a seemingly connected website called Ethan Haas Was Right which offers puzzles with video clips giving some hints, if you solve them. Then there is Ethan Haas Was Wrong which offers up:
एथान हास वुड त्रय तो स्ट्राइक फार इन्तो थे हेअर्ट्स ऑफ़ में। दो नॉट बे शकेन ब्य थे राम्ब्लिंग्स ऑफ़ आ मद मन मय ब्रोठेर्स ऎंड सिस्टर्स। वी अरे अल सफे:

Chris - have a look at this one: Slusho
Apparently, that's the name that the film is shooting under at the moment, and vans with the Slusho logo on the side have been spotted on location.
Right now there's no word as to whether Slusho features in the film, or is some sort of code, but the story behind that site makes for interesting pondering.

One of the guys in the trailer is wearing a slusho t-shirt, he is also shown giving rob the shot in the picture in 1-18-08.com
this also wouldn't be the first time JJ Abrams denied involvement with viral marketing. the Lost Exprerience was also denied by him, but is directly related to his show Lost.
and the grainy video you can get if you solve the puzzles on ethanhaaswasright.com definitely fits his style.

Did anyone else find the email address on Ethan Haas was Right? I got this email when I hit send:
I think I’m safe, for now. Wherever I go it isn’t long before they find me.
It seems The Mezin are connected to every aspect of humanity, from culture and religion to our most advanced technology
I have to be more careful contacting all of you. When I began I thought I could safely speak about his writings and perhaps save us all...
but now it seems I will have to find a more subtle way to share his visions.
If this is the first message you have received from me do not give up hope! There are others that have gone before you, the way has been found, you only need to search and you will find the answers you seek. We will all have a role to play. We are getting stronger, our voices will be heard!
I have more of Haas’s writings, once I find a secure way to transmit them I will leave you clues to find them.
The more I read the more I realize Haas was right………

Is it me or did that sepuence look and sound very similar to the sequence when the tripods rise from under the street in War Of The Worlds?
Sounded and looked just like it, espcially the quick pan on the street to the Head, almost exactly the same/

Ethan Haas Was Right is a series of puzzles. Solve them to gain clues about "what happened." My first thought, when seeing the Cloverfield trailer, was that Abrams was doing a movie on the John Titor story. Anybody else familiar with that?

Well, apparently the Ethan Haas sites are actually to do with an upcoming table top game.
I did find this though: Redirected from youcantdrinkjustsix.com...
