Battlestar Galactica may be gone, but as we all know by now, the BSG Universe is alive and well (but not in quite the same way the Stargate Universe is). A brand-new series will be commencing in 2010 on Syfy. Yes, it is true that the pilot has already been released to DVD, but the new BSG series, Caprica, has not yet premiered on television. That momentous occasion will occur January 22nd. Of course, there are lots of people out there who neither want to purchase the DVD nor want to wait until January 22nd to watch the show.

Is it really considered a "holiday gift" when the extended pilot has been on hulu.com the past week? And in higher definition?
