Veil of Deception Review

I recently watched Veil of Deception which deals with the impact of SSM on America's Youth. The movie was produced by Mission America. I found the movie to be of moderate quality with some slow parts and the audio isn't too good. However, this isn't about being a cinemagraphic masterpiece. It's about the message that our culture is in for a big shock the more we accept the homosexual agenda and especially SSM.

From activist Judges throughout the country to the myriad protests and marches, the infiltration is certainly under way. It is up to us as parents to teach our children Biblical principles. The Bible is very clear on this issue that marriage is to be between one man and one woman, period. The nefarious homosexual organizations are teaching children that it's ok to experiment with homosexuality because that's how you learn whether or not your gay. One very disturbing but not surprising point is the power and political agenda of the NEA. The NEA is an organization like many who doesn't represent the majority of it's members views.

Finally, the movie leaves some tips on how to help.

  • Become/Stay informed
  • Pray
  • Educate your children
  • Educate the schools

So, again, the information was relevant and helpful, but the overall quality was not too good. I liked the movie though and would recommend it to anyone interested in learning how best to protect their children in this time of moral uncertainty.

Does SSM mean same-sex marriage? I had to do a terms search on the internet to try to figure out what it was.

I mean this in as nice a way is as possible, but, the tone of your review was really aggressive, was it meant to be taken that way?

    yes, SSM means same-sex marriage.

Bryan, I am a gay man with a daughter in private school, but there are an estimated 2 to 6 million kids being raised by gay and lesbian parents. Those kids go to school too, probably the same school as your kids. They may be sitting next to them in the classroom (ewwwww, ahhhh, ooohhh).

The schools aren't yours, beyotch. Move over, there's a new daddy comin to the PTA.

Didn't we see a virtually identical somewhat more articulate review of this recently, down to some of the phrases and the formatting being the same? I think we're dealing with evangispam here.

Dave, when I've talked in the past about a propaganda machine, you thought I was crazy, right? This is what I mean, a mass concerted effort. Propaganda.

This is a valuable and worthy addition to Blogcritics.org.

Bravo young man. It's a message that's really important ... for me to poop on.

Boy, remember the good ole days here - about Nov, 2004. Sweet.

Should I make any of the two obvious jokes about Mr. Massingale's site being called "The Narrow" ? Naah.

Bryan, sorry you're here spreading hate. Bryan, sorry you were invited. Bryan, sorry you're here.

It wasn't THIS propaganda machine I thought you were crazy about, Steve. This one is clearly real - as real as the moveon.org surrogates who flood the web with their talking points, but perhaps even less subtle.

I thought you were talking about some sort of right wing blogging conspiracy. These folks aren't right wing, they're loony religious fringe.

I always find it interesting how all the people who support tolerance are never tolerant of intolerance. Makes your lofty ideals fall flat on their face.

Hi Bryan, from a purely editorial standpoint, this does come across as rather insular: I didn't know what "SSM" meant, you assume readers share your moral values, you don't explain why they should do so, why are homosexual organizations "nefarious"? why is sam sex marriage a threat?

    Thanks

If it makes you feel any better, Bryan, I support your right to spew all of the paranoid, hate-filled invective you wish. Just don't expect everyone else to stay silent while you do so, since those of us who have chosen to teach our children tolerance and acceptance instead of hate and fear feel that to stay silent is to imply agreement. There is nothing particularly interesting to note in that, nor is it hypocritical.

I might add that this is also very badly written 'paranoid, hate-filled invective'.

I'd like to know what these "nefarious homosexual organizations" are and how they are "teaching children that it's ok to experiment with homosexuality."

And if no specific and concrete examples can be provided, I'd like to know why the author of this piece would make such a baseless assertion.

What kind of degree does one need to hold in order to be sufficiently qualified to "educate the schools"?

Sorry for interrupting your ad hominem attacks but if I could step in for a moment to explain something to all of you. This was a review of a movie, that's it. This isn't the forum to have an expository discussion about my views (or anyone else's) on homosexuality. If you would like to see what I believe please visit my site at http://www.thenarrow.org. That would be a more appropriate forum to discuss these matters, NOT here in the context of a movie review.

Me too. I'd like to know where to send my money. We have to do something to cut down on unplanned pregnancies in this country.
