The black mamba snake is known for being extremely aggressive when provoked and will not hesitate to strike when aggravated. It is the quickest snake in the world, having recorded speeds of up to 12 mph (19.5 km/h) and has an average length of 8.2 feet (2.5m). Upon striking its prey it releases 100-120 mg of venom. The new horror Open Graves, set for UK release on February 15, stars the venomous black mamba alongside an alluring Eliza Dushku and hunky ex-Levi's model Mike Vogel.
