UK Readers: Blogcritics Has Open Graves to Give Away!

The black mamba snake is known for being extremely aggressive when provoked and will not hesitate to strike when aggravated. It is the quickest snake in the world, having recorded speeds of up to 12 mph (19.5 km/h) and has an average length of 8.2 feet (2.5m). Upon striking its prey it releases 100-120 mg of venom. Only 10-15 mg is enough to kill an adult. Why does this matter to you?

The new horror Open Graves, set for UK release on February 15, stars the venomous black mamba alongside an alluring Eliza Dushku and hunky ex-Levi's model Mike Vogel. The film is a blend of an adult Jumanji mixed with a Final Destination storyline set in Spain around a group of international surfers. Read a review of it here at Blogcritics.

Horror has become one of the most popular genres of today and this film does have its stomach-turning moments. From nails being wrenched to crabs gouging out eyeballs, there are times when you might want to turn away from the screen. The travelers each face their own gruesome deaths. Can it all be stopped? You'll need to get your hands on the DVD to know the answer and here is your chance...

Icon Home Entertainment has given Blogcritics one copy of the DVD Open Graves to give away to a random reader from the UK (this is a Region 2 DVD). All you need to do is simply follow the instructions below to enter. You too could be sharing your living room with Eliza Dushku and Mike Vogel, although that does mean there will also be the dreaded black mamba present too. But hey, it's a good price to pay for some nice eye candy.

The rules are pretty simple:

  • Fill out the entry form.
  • Entries must be received by February 13, 2010.
  • One winner will be drawn at random on or after February 13, 2010.
  • The winner will be notified by e-mail and in the comments section below.
  • You must be a resident of the UK to enter.
