I noticed one thing about Rashad in round three. Rashad had this weird dance in the stand up position. That stance allows him to wail on his opponents quickly, but does not provide any power to those punches against an opponent with a decent chin. Wisely, Rashad pushed Keith to the fence and took him down in a side mount. His menacing elbows cut Keith on the brows and blood gushed out. Keith stood up twice, but like a cobra when it gets a hold of its prey, Rashad wouldn't let go. The referee broke the two men apart as they stood up and Keith got the breather he needed.
Keith was good to continue, but he knew that he'd fallen behind on the score sheets. The fight resumed with two minutes left in the final round. Keith seemed too tired to continue. He did not make any further effort to make an impression with the judges and lost the match's decision. The 'killer instinct' that Dana White attributed to Keith earlier in the show did not show up today.
So far, the underdogs are winning the semi-finals. Luke Cummo, the last person picked during team selection made a fine showing last week. Now Rashad Evans, dismissed as the least conditioned heavy weight is also moving to the finals. I'm hoping this is setting up more underdog wins for the next episode --where two fights will be featured! Will Jason Von Flue triumph over the heavy favourite Joe Stevenson? Will underdog Brad Imes squeeze out a victory versus Seth 'the giant killer' Petruzelli? You know there's going to be at least one short fight (knockout or submission?) if they can squeeze in two fights in one episode. I'll see you after Tuesday night's special episode! Ed: JH

I hope Rashad Evans win the contract then walk away from it....Dana white has done nothing but hate on him from the very beginning...It's hard for a person to work for a company when they get no respect. Still to the very end...Dana's picking the other fighter instead of Rashad....Rashad has beaten every tough fighter on there...not to mention he's fought more fights than any fighter on there.....He should have been automatically selected to be in the finals, but he once again had to fight the favorite to get there. Rashad i say screw the UFC and Dana White.
