Daniel Parra from San Diego, California sang an old school song, “Mighty High.” Though he had a lot of energy and he pulled the crowd in with his stage performance, his vocals did not stand up. He had a decent voice but maybe he could have made a better song choice. Keep the faith, Daniel!
Christal Garrick from Houston, Texas sang the song “He Cares.” She had a little too much voice fluctuation. She put on a good performance and grabbed the attention of the audience, yet something lacked. The judges didn’t like the way she dressed. They commented that just because she’s a Christian doesn’t mean she has to be covered from head to toe. Continue to allow yourself to be used by God, Christal!
At the end of the show, five contestants had to be eliminated. The choices were not easy, some of the performers sang well. Some didn’t give their best performance tonight but their vocal abilities were better than others who gave it their all. Would those contestants miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime, would they be penalized for allowing their emotions of fear and excitement get the best of them? You be the judge.

I just don't see how everyone is singing Chrystal Aikens praises when Shari is the obvious best.... I'm guessing if the judges vote on voice alone.... Shari's the obvious winner... Unfortunately they may go for someone younger, which isn't bad... but it isn't always good just to vote for someone with a pretty voice who is younger. I Shari reminds me a little of I guess maybe... another Vanessa Bell Armstrong. But like someone said, may the best person win.
