The final three were up for the $250,000 prize and the title of "The Biggest Loser."
Roger began the competition at 363 pounds. Tonight he weighed 199 pounds for a total weight loss of 164 pounds or 45.18%.
Kelli began the competition at 271 pounds. Tonight she weighed 162 pounds for a total weight loss of 109 pounds or 40.22%.
Ali began the competition at 234 pounds. Tonight she weighed 122 pounds for a total weight loss of 112 pounds or 47.86%.
Ali won the title, the money and is the first female Biggest Loser.
While I have frequently ranted and raved about the training methods, the Temptation Rounds, the challenges and the workouts, I watched the finale with awe. These 20 people changed their lives in 16 short weeks and will likely live a longer, healthier life because of The Biggest Loser.
I am so proud of each of their accomplishments!!
A quote from Ali that sums up so many of the contestants' and the viewers' feelings: "Have you ever had a dream so big and so unreal and then all of a sudden it was right there?"
For all of the contestants, the answer is, "Yes!"

I watched the whole season with my wife (sometimes eating ice cream in front of the TV while we're at it). But I think this season's Biggest Loser should be retroactively re-titled...
"The Crying Game."
