It just gets more and more impossible. The thing is, in Prison Break’s crazy world, the more impossible it seems the better the show is going to be. Prison Break takes place in the “real world” and it is a drama, but I don’t think I’ve seen a more twisted, unbelievable series of events since 24.
In the previous episode, FBI Agent Mahone had captured Lincoln, leaving Michael in yet another precarious position. Sara is put on trial for her part in the Fox River escape, and wicked Agent Kellerman showed up to testify as a surprise witness. The Panamanian police catch Bellick, Sucre gets injured, and T-bag gets what he deserves from Scofield.
We start the season finale with Scofield and Agent Mahone in yet another standoff. William Fitchner is one of my favorite actors in this show. As Agent Mahone, he’s rational and yet unhinged. He is good at plotting and planning, yet he lets his emotions get in the way of the best action he should take. By the end of the season finale, even though Agent Mahone has done some foul, unforgivable deeds while working under the FBI, I liked him just a bit more when the episode was over.
Next up is the verdict of Sara Tancredi’s trial, where Agent Kellerman gets on the witness stand and reveals all he knows. Again, it’s another case of a wicked guy who does just enough good for you to not totally wish him dead. I hate the character twice as much as I hate Agent Mahone, but with all the odds stacked against Scofield and his allies, they need as many points on their side as possible, no matter who’s helping them.
The verdict of this trial means a lot for Michael and Lincoln, but we won’t know how permanent an effect the decision will have because this is Prison Break, after all. What it means for Agent Kellerman you’ll have to see for yourself. I know what his fate is, and I hope to see more of him despite him being a few murders away from being a total monster.

The finale was fantastic, IMO.

Great review. I agree that Prison Break is engrossing even if it is often at times preposterous. About the only thing that dampens my enjoyment of the show is its over-reliance on the existence of a nearly omnipotent coven of conspirators who maintain their power not by expertise or trickery, but mainly by just killing people. On the other hand, I would pay good money if the next season could find a way to deal with the ramifications of the exposure of the conspiracy to the general public.

I think they blew the show by continuing it to season 3. They should of wrapped it up in season 2. Anyway, i like the show, but the idea of Michael being in prison again is just too much. Now what? We have to see Link rescue him? Hmmm....

Anyone got any dates for the start of Season 3?
As for SONA... well, other websites are speculating that it could stand for "Scientific Observation of Neural Adjustments".
Although, for such observations, surely such adjustments can't be observed whilst the subject is in prison? Special apparatus for monitoring brain activity would be needed... probably.

Sona could mean anything. One signature of Prison Break is that words turn out to mean different things when interpreted a certain way.
What makes me think that SONA means Son A is that the antagonists mention that they want him to escape, and that it's in his nature to find a way to escape.
By the way, an entire recap of all episodes can be found on the Fox Prison Break website, if you want to read the details of the series up to "Sona"
