TV Review: Grey's Anatomy

Previously on Grey's Anatomy: George was a two-year-old, moping about Meredith; Derek was a two-year-old, vacillating between his wife and an intern; Cristina and Izzie were at least three years old, respectively whining about sharing an apartment with George and Alex's erroneous conclusion that sleeping with him, you know, meant something (duh). Addison and McDreamy continue the plodding march to the dull cul-de-sac of their relationship.

The theme for the week is Superstition. We begin the episode observing the doctors doing all the little ritualistic things that make them feel better about the task at hand: namely surgery or in this case, surgeries - 4 of them. And yes, they all end badly despite the preventative measure of said rituals.

Talk begins in the hospital of fatality clusters and legend says they happen in threes or sevens, meaning there will be three more deaths before the night is through. Addison decides to counter this by liberal doses of juju, which, in her case, is hot cocoa. She even juju's Meredith which McDreamy witnesses, leading to a brief conversation between the McDoctors about the fact that Addison and Meredith should be friends because Derek and Meredith are friends. Yeah. Good luck with that. It should be noted that Meredith dumps the juju without a McSip.

Cristina briefly complains about the fact that the OR is quiet which of course signals a bell somewhere in the bowels of the universe to produce an onslaught of medical emergencies.

Cristina and Meredith get the cases coming out of the ambulance, which should be dubbed 'OCD guy' and 'Stalker Girl'. Both have more than a few psychological wires criss-crossed but we're loading up the hospital at this point just to tempt fate.

Meredith's patient claims to have been struck by lightning. After a brief exam, 'struck by lightning' really means not struck at all as she was climbing up a tree outside her boyfriend's house during a thunderstorm and fell. She is convinced, however, that she should have listened to her horoscope and stayed in bed.

Welcome to Blogcritics, Wendy! Glad to see you covering Grey's Anatomy - I never miss it. I wouldn't dare!

Now, if we can get some original Lost episodes for you to review, we're gonna be so lucky!

If I could only read one blog on the info highway, it would be Wendy's...Mark my words, she'll be writing the next runaway hit, that is, once she's tamed the aforementioned 'wild lion'...I love how she 'connects the dots' for me but still allows me to form my own thoughts...She's very attune to the music of our lives and is piss-ant funny to boot!...Peace out!
