TV Review: Grey's Anatomy - "Valentine's Day Massacre"

Part of: Grey Area

Synopsis: The ER is filled with severe cases after the roof collapses at a popular romantic restaurant; Derek tries to manage his schedule as Chief of Surgery as Meredith struggles with her new set of duties.

When a popular restaurant's roof collapses on Valentine's Day during dinner, it's all hands on deck for the surgeons at Seattle Grace Hospital. It seems as if love is in the air and it only gets better when the blood and guts come into the hospital.

Dr. Warren (Jason George), the anesthesiologist, is trying ever so slightly to get the attention of Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson). Bailey is flat out refusing any small talk with Dr. Warren and Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) isn't helping his cause either by standing over Bailey during her surgery. I think it's amazing that Bailey can't find the right words to say when she finally is face to face with him. Hopefully this will bring out a new side to her that we haven't yet seen.

The love-triangle between Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) and Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) has been reheated. Teddy confesses, YET AGAIN, her love (while telling him about her bikini wax) for Owen. He "feels like he's cheating on Cristina" when he talks to Teddy. They decide to be friends. Awesome. I have five bucks it'll be a week until she admits stupidly that she's in love with Owen, again.

Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) decides that he wants to adopt his daughter's baby since she had previously decided to give it up for adoption. Sloan Riley (Leven Rambin) is a flaky 18-year-old pregnant girl who decides to flee town after finding out Mark wants to adopt the baby. It appears she's gone until the next time she needs money.

You got it wrong, Owen didn't say that "Cristina is my friend too", he said "I miss my friend, too" meaning Teddy.
