Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester (Vik Sahay) will not be thrilled, but they could try and convince Drew to join their band, Jeffster. He supplies the singing, they play! Perfect. At least someone can be on key with the vocals. Incidentally, the latest mangled song they perform, "Mr. Roboto," can be found on YouTube.
For now, Chuck fans will have to wait until fall before it returns. However, a new show under the same corporate umbrella also deserves attention. Matthew Bomer and Tim DeKay (Carnivale, The New Adventures of Old Christine) head the cast of White Collar on USA. It is a cat and mouse game between a con artist (Bomer, duh!) and an FBI agent (DeKay). I have to believe it's possible cast members from Team Bartowski and WC could show up on the other at some point.
I saw something online today which should keep Bomer fans happy until a weekly series appears - a Toyota commercial made for a Japanese audience. Let's just say a superhero is in the works.
Of course, any fan of Bartowski and crew can see many videos of their performances online at YouTube or the NBC website.
A third season might also show viewers the Awesome brothers. These two have been mentioned in the first season, but they are not discussed at the wedding. I admit they could be standing next to Devon at the altar, but I don't know for sure.
Upfronts, or the official announcement of shows on any individual network's schedule, are practically around the corner. Fans should know before too much longer if this wonderful show continues. Keep your fingers crossed!
