Defeated, Denise returns to her office to find Daniel Post (Michael J. Fox), who went to Switzerland for cancer treatments, has returned. They go out to dinner, but Post is not clear on whether the treatments worked. However, he has a question: will Denise marry him?
Interesting. This show likes to throw out implications of things to come. If Denise marries Daniel, she can leave the firm for good. Can we say cast shuffle? It would be the third time around, but third season is coming up ...
Brad hits a major roadblock when the judge does not go for the plea deal and promises to give Hannah at minimum three years. Holly tells Brad the judge once had a relationship with Shirley.
Here comes the showdown! Shirley finds the judge and tells him his daughter's death years ago, is no excuse for the way he is handling things now. Meanwhile, Denny wheedles a kiss from Shirley since, he is, after all getting older. Alan, one cheek smeared with red lipstick, joins the founding partner on the balcony, and tells Denny he needs a new cover for his desk. Nice going, Marlene! Denny openly wonders if he should marry Shirley. Uh oh, the last time he married a woman, he cheated on her the day they wed in "There's Fire!" It might make the show's fall premiere a highly watched show, though ...

Two complete seasons now and still no cameo appearance of another ATTORNEY from "The Practice"
That's almost as utterly PATHETIC as the fact that BL will be out on DVD before any season of The Practice hits DVD.
