Soon as they were alone he smacked his bitch up. For a moment I thought he was going to rape her, as he was tearing at her clothes. But no, he was looking for a wire, a recording device. Finding none, he really let loose on what a disappointment she was to him, vowing to fill her with drugs and lock her in Arkham Asylum if she ever pulled that crap again.
He also clearly admitted (again) his part and inherent culpability in the day’s events. As they walked out of the hangar, Logan triumphant and Martha subdued; I turned to my husband and said, “If there’s a God in Heaven – somehow that was recorded.”
There is. It was.
Awesome.
Logan went on to fling some eloquent bullshit about Palmer. As he was just about done, he’s distracted by a discussion among some Secret Service agents. These agents then approach the stand. Logan finishes his speech and turns to reprimand them for nearly interrupting his speech and all. They are not impressed, and casually tell him they don’t work for him any longer.
Bagged!
A beautiful moment, Jack is vindicated, Martha and Mike both smirk knowingly and Audrey arrives just in time. She and Jack embrace. You can really feel Jack’s relief and eagerness to put the day behind them. But something will go wrong. Audrey, or rather her clean white blouse, is a portent of trouble ahead. We wait nervously. That other shoe will drop, and it’s killing us.
Sure enough, Jack is notified that there’s a call from his daughter Kim. Here it fucking is, the shoe is dropping. Kim is held by Graham, Kim is held by terrorists, Kim IS a terrorist, what? Jack – don’t’ touch that phone!
Jack didn’t listen to us. The other shoe that dropped was a Red Army boot or something, and now Jack is being dragged into the bowels of a freighter heading for Shanghai. And Audrey was not killed, not yet anyway.

Yeah, good point that we were surprised by some characters, and events this season.
And fey? tosser? I like the lingo.
That's it? Season's over already? Well, it's been fun!

Nice job covering the bases here and giving the color commentary. I for one think the producers and writers didn't know how to end it. There have been many lose threads never tied up on 24 and characters who have disappeared. The way they did this was lowest of the low.
Of course, Jack will be back and, when those Chinese invariably drop their guard a little, Jack is going on the attack. There is another possibility: they recruit Jack to work for them and he does so to gain freedom.
No matter what, it's going to be a long 7 months.

If I missed the season finale, does anyone know when it will be on tv again?
