Big Brother is the Porsche of reality TV. It is by far the best reality show around and it is back for another season, proof that when you put thirteen strangers in a house, anything can happen. The 11th installment of Big Brother airs on CBS on July 9th at 8PM ET/PT.
This year's twist is high-school cliques. Houseguests will compete for food, safety from eviction and luxury prizes in four cliques: Popular, Athletes, Brainiacs and Off-Beats. Just when they thought they will done with high school.
Drama.
In previous years, houseguests had to deal with slop, but this year, it gets worse: cold showers and uncomfortable bedrooms for the losers. See it for yourself: Take a house tour with Big Brother host Julie Chen. The house is also eco-friendly. Pretty cool.
"You may have graduated, but the truth is we never leave high school and this summer we are going to prove it," says Allison Grodner, Executive Producer. "From the brains to the jocks to the off-beat, everyone will be able to identify to one of these cliques, giving the viewers a group to root for and against from the very beginning. The division will cause instant drama."
The newest Big Brother has some colorful houseguests. You can watch interviews with the cast here to get a better feel of them before they enter the house, but here's some quick information about each:
*Braden Bacha, 28, a surfer from Santa Monica, California. His bio makes him seem like an idiot, but his interview makes him seem more interesting. Of course, in his interview, he says how he needs the money, because of the economy, but later says he's going to donate it to charity. Hmm ...
*Casey Turner, 41, a fifth grade teacher/DJ from St. Petersburg, Flordia. I haven't had a chance to see his interview, but the guy seemed nice from what I've read. His biography at CBS reads, "Funny, outgoing and intelligent, this teacher is most proud of having a career where he has taught at schools located in low-income areas for more than 15 years."
*Chima Simone, 32, a freelance journalist from West Hollywood, California. I liked her when I read her bio, but after I saw her interview, I found her very annoying. Plus, the amount of make-up she wears is disgusting. Hopefully, my impression of her will change. After all, a fifteen minute interview doesn't really determine if someone is true or fake.
*Jeff Schroeder, 30, an advertising salesman from Norridge, Illinios. I haven't seen his interview. He seems sincere, but that's not what the Big Brother game is about. From his bio, he seems like he is looking for a girl, instead of the half million dollar prize. So, which is his priority?

Ever since the producers allowed Evil Dick's behavior, I gave up on this show. On YouTube the following season, I saw some guy's belligerent, curse-filled shouting at some woman in the jacuzzi and no one intervened and knew I made the right choice.

You're right about the hgs behavior --
Last year, a guy called someone Judas and then someone else said that one of the other hgs (a Catholic school teacher) was a child molester.
But I'm a sucker for cheap entertainment

Dear Big Brother:
I have been waiting for a whole year for you to come on CBS. I was so disappointed to see that there was on 1 black female and 1 half black male. Why is that? If it were 1/2 and 1/2, that would have been fair
