LaToya Jackson, the airhead, baby-talking, money magnet raised the roof with contributions for the charities in the last two episodes. LaToya gifted Marlee Matlin with a personal T-shirt Michael signed. She then sold it for $99,000. When the teams had to create art LaToya made a stunning silver sequenced glove-over-hat cap that won an additional $25,000 for her AIDS charity. That celebrity art episode made the most money EVER on Celebrity Apprentice!
For "Raising the Steaks" last night, the teams had to cook, create and star in live cooking demonstrations with three occasion-specific meals featuring Omaha steaks. As a former vegan, I would have been of little use to the team. Just like tonight's PM: Hope Dworaczyk, Playmate of the Year, who does not eat red meat and tells a white lie that she did to Donald Trump. Gary Busey, still crazy after all these shows, was Backbone PM, while Star Jones continues to micro-manage every project manager.
Both teams prepped and cooked up a storm for Omaha executives. Lil Jon had to help Gary put some "damn tissue" in a box. He was pissed. Hope looked busy and okayed everything. Nene Leaks bitched right on key. She keeps it real.
LaToya impressed because she'd eaten at the best restaurants in the world yet found their lemon dessert tops. Team ASAP was organized but did not do any "live" cooking. Backbone shows up with a confusing, live smorgasbord presentation that showcased their culinary skills. Gary connected with the crowd despite his selective sanity. Who knew?
Boardroom--who goes home?
Hope was full of compliments for her team. They won, no drama. Lil Jon rants about Gary orbiting earth and rarely grounded. Surprise, the men lose and with little fanfare Busey fired, falling to earth long enough to get into the limo headed to the airport.
