Welcome to the ongoing mission of the TV media experiment; its goal of delivering fine television-themed entertainment in one convenient place continues. Still having fun? Are you there? There is no end in sight, the media does not know when to say when, it is relentless with its constant presence. The only way to satisfy it is to keep plowing ahead.

This is the third member of the media column family, joining movies and music. Each week I hope to bring a number of clips for you to view, perhaps some news, full episodes, and TV-on-DVD info. So, stick around, watch some TV, and have a good time!

12 Days of Dieting Tips

Need some diet tips this holiday season? If so, the below video is for you. It is sung to the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and is filled with tips from David Letterman's diet doctor, Dr. Lou Arrone. Most of it is common sense, but it is presented in an amusing fashion with some help from the citizens of New York.

Heroes - "The Recruit - Private Mills"

Well, Heroes is done for 2008 with "Chapter 3" just finishing up a few weeks ago. The series will be back on the air come 2009 with the start of the fourth cycle. To help tide you over, NBC is offering new webisodes. The first of these is online and it centers on the military project that was put together to help track down the specials using the ability releasing serum. Take a look:

Saturday Night Live - Clips Featuring Hugh Laurie

A couple weeks back Hugh Laurie hosted Saturday Night Live. NBC has posted a few clips from the episode, including Amy Poehler's goodbye and a new digital short called "Cookies." I cannot say the show has elicited much laughter from me of late, save for Tina Fey's Sarah Palin, but it still has a couple of chuckles in it.
