Amidst the higher profile announcements of NBC, ABC, and CBS, Warner Brothers' netlet announced its new fall line-up.
Monday sees the return of family favorites 7th Heaven and Everwood.
Likewise, Tuesday is unchanged with another two hours of drama: Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill.
Smallville returns on Wednesday night, followed by two new comedies. Blue Collar TV is based on the stand-up comedy of Jeff Foxworthy. Drew Carey takes the premise of his ABC improv show and adds an animated twist with the Green Screen Show.
The network is testing two new shows on Thursday night, both geared toward younger viewers who may elect to skip the larger networks' powerhouse line-ups for the night. The Mountain is a drama that follows a young man who inherits a ski resort from his grandfather. Studio 7 is a combined reality-game show in which contestants compete in a quiz bowl while sharing a NYC apartment for a week.
Friday features three old shows in different time slots and one new addition. What I Like About You starts of the night, followed by the premiere of Commando Nanny. Reba and Grounded For Life completes the evening.
No original programming is scheduled for Saturday on the WB.
Steve Harvey's Big Time leads off Sunday night. Charmed follows. The new drama Jack & Bobby tops off the night.
While this line-up may seem sparse, the WB isn't trying to compete with the Big Four this Fall. It's most direct competition is UPN, which will release its planned schedule tomorrow.
