The Trailer Park: The Memory of a Killer

Part of: Trailer Park

I checked this trailer out based on the title, I thought it sounded promising. The concept presented in it, based on the small amount of voice over narration was actually more interesting than the trailer was.

The trailer is put together like many other thriller type films over the years, except the cast was noticeably older than the typical Hollywood film. It is labeled as a foreign film, but I was unable to ascertain the country of origin, since there was no dialogue spoken, outside of the English narration.

The story is about an aging hitman who is developing Alzheimer's disease, his memory is crumbling, while simultaneously growing a conscience. The idea seems unique, it is interesting to see a film that deals with how a memory altering disease can affect someone who has chosen such a deadly profession. I am eager to see if the concept works in the film.

The trailer can be seen here.

Actually the language spoken is Dutch, Flemish itself is not a language, although it is used to indicate the Dutch that is spoken in the Flemish part of Belgium.

Let us Belgians know what you think of the film... It was a big hit here. The film is based on a book by Jef Geeraerts (very good!) and stars the elite of the belgian actor scene.

I hope to get to see it, though I fear I may have to wait for DVD. It isn't slated to play around me yet...
