The Invasion of Iraq

Frontline's two hour examination of the Invasion of Iraq airs Thursday on most PBS stations. The documentary shows there were more intelligence failures and looks at the battle within the Pentagon over the size of the invasion force.

They interview Republican Guard General Raad Al-Hamdani, the highest ranking Iraqi general who has been caught, and other members of the Iraqi military. They also speak with a number of people from the US and British military (though General Tommy Franks and Rumsfield declined to be interviewed).

Aaron Barnhart writes about the show for the Kansas City Star.

Frontline has a number of terrific documentaries on the Iraq situation. Check out Truth, War and Consequences - it is a very well put together, critical show on the "path to war". It's particualrly interesting in light of the relative dearth of WMD found in Iraq.
