The First Official Motion Poster For The Hunger Games

Part of: NewsFlash

One of the latest authors to have their books adapted into films is Suzanne Collins, the author of The Hunger Games trilogy. If, like me, you’ve been following the casting process for the film, you will know that it was a frenzy of actors and actresses all campaigning for the role as the young Katniss Everdeen and all others were beat out by Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence (who most recently portrayed Mystique in X-Men: First Class).

I won’t get into the casting for the film, because that would just take forever to go over and it’s more or less a whole other story, but fans have eagerly been awaiting anything to do with the film. This week is the start of the San Diego Comic-Con  2011and for a lucky bunch of people; they will be in California to get a sneak preview into a ton of upcoming movies, video games and more.

Lionsgate Pictures has released a poster to the public so that we can share in a little bit of the awesome that Comic-Con goers are experiencing this week. The first official Hunger Games poster has arrived… and it’s not just any poster, it’s a motion poster. Check it out and tell us what you think!
