The Blood Brothers, Jungle Rules Live DVD

Well you already know the Blood Brothers rock my socks. ArtistDirect was kind enough to send me their Jungle Rules Live DVD to review. This DVD made me grin.
Maybe I've watched Fugazi's Instrument rockumentary too many times, but I was expecting something a little different than what I actually got. Instead of live clips, interviews, footage from the road, and miscellaneous crazyness, the meat and potatoes of this DVD is just one amazing live set. It was filmed at The Old Fire House Teen Center in Redmond, Washington.
The audio isn't the greatest, but the band is energetic, the crowd is nuts, and the simple fact that they have 2 vocalists that do nothing but sing and flail around the stage just electrifies everything.
I enjoyed the way it was filmed, there were several different angles and the whole thing has a gritty DIY quality about it that I enjoyed.
The DVD also has a discography section, with album artwork and tracklistings of all their releases, as well as three audio only tracks and a photo gallery.
Jungle Rules Live packs a lot of bang for your buck. You will be rocked.
