Supernatural Preview: "Jump The Shark" and Fan News - Page 3

Part of: The Winchester Family Business: Supernatural

For more information about the Jus In Bello convention, including petition, email and Facebook links, go to the convention's website. Good luck to both the European and South American fans. I hope you all get to experience the same dream I’ve gotten to experience twice now.

Speaking of the Romanian fans, they’ve got a few other efforts going. Vichi writes Supernatural blogs for the TVblog.ro website, Raluca writes her reviews at her Livejournal site and Olivia started a Romanian fan site a year ago. They also started a new blog just a few days ago called Support Supernatural that they are using to promote new projects. They obtained a partnership with TVblog.ro (the biggest blog site for TV shows in Romania), who’s promised to support them in every project they’ll be doing regarding Supernatural. Aside from the convention, another campaign is to get the AXN channel to air the show. They are also starting Romanian fan club for the show.

In The US

There’s one story that has come to my attention recently that I had the pleasure of sharing on my personal site, but also feel compelled to mention it here. Cammy sent me photos of a project that she and a friend did, a restoration of a 1967 Impala to look just like the Metallicar. They’ve entered it in car shows along with a Supernatural poster, and it's gotten many looks and many fans. Below is the a photo of this brilliant restoration.

Got any news to report in your neck of the woods? Please share, for chances are I’ve missed it lately. Oh, and don’t forget to watch Supernatural live for the next four weeks. Show Kripke and company just how much we love season four.

That Impala is sweet!!! I'm sure Dean would be proud!

Reading your post, I couldn't help but to think just how awesome this fandom really is. To have people all around the globe to sign petitions, to get together like Europe and South American are doing... that is just plain awesomness!!! I hope with all of my heart that they get their conventions: devoted fans like them deserve only the best (the best meaning the boys).

I am so proud of being in this fandom! I've never been in a group of people (who by the way are from all around the globe meaning that we don't even know eachother by face only by name and writing) this close together!

So in the end this is good news for a Thursday morning! And yay for new episodes!!! I seriously cannot wait to read your reviews Alice! Have a good Thursday and a good weekend!

    Hey Alice,
Thanks for mentioning our All Hell Breaks Loose convention, it was amazing and all three guests had the fans in stitches. The URL link has my report of Day 1 if anyone is interested in reading it. AHBL may be over but fans are already planning for Part 2. Maybe next year we can bring out Jim Beaver, who wrote a fantastic letter to the Australian fans he was so wanting to meet.

    Lots of Love

That Impala is a '68. It's very pretty though. :)

Actually yes, it is a 68 Impala. That was a typo on my part, probably because I'm used to writing "67" Impala so much in my reviews. Still, it's very pretty, and does the show some big justice. I'm in awe over the end result.

Are you coming to Asylum or do we need to find a way to report to you so you can do a write up? Practically the whole cast seems to be due there.

Kate - As much as I'd love to come to Asylum (I do have relatives in England), I can't. Send me the reports through the contact us section on my personal site (follow the url next to my name), and I'd be happy to publish them there and on this blog too. It sounds like it's going to be a great time!
