Sons of Anarchy to Launch iPad App

Part of: NewsFlash

FX and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment recently announced the emergence of an avant-garde second screen interactive shopping app.   Dubbed SOA Gear, the app will make its debut on November 1, 2011.  The app is an entertainment extravaganza that Sons of Anarchy addicts, connoisseurs, and fans will devour.  SOA Gear contains rare behind-the-scenes footage, licensed merchandise, exclusive products, as well as clothing and jewelry worn by members of the resplendent ensemble.

Compatible with Apple’s iPad, the launch is scheduled to synchronize with episode nine of season four on November 1st.  The app allows fans to shop while watching Sons of Anarchy in real time on TV or on Blu-ray using BD –Live.

How the SOA Gear App Works:

  1. Download and launch the “SOA Gear” app from the Apple iTunes store
  2. The app automatically synchronizes while watching Sons of Anarchy
  3. The app highlights Sons of Anarchy products for purchase

Kurt Sutter is the mastermind behind the genius that is Sons Of Anarchy, serving as executive producer along with John Linson, Art Linson and Paris Barclay.

Sons Of Anarchy  is a compelling, intelligent and pulse manipulating drama that touches on the inner dwellings of human nature from the inky, murky depths of despair to the twinkling glimmer of hope winking through.  Presently, Sons of Anarchy is the #1 scripted drama series on basic cable, as well as, the sky-scraping ratings juggernaut in FX’s history. A fifth season was recently ordered.

With the acumen of Sutter, the savvy deliverance of Katey Sagal, the unparalleled acuity of the astounding, exquisite and superlative Theo Rossi, Sons of Anarchy is an epic adventure rife with sagacity, heart stirring and heart stopping moments… and a formidable family bond that cements everyone together beautifully.

As a side note, I wonder if I wish on every star in the universe if my SOA Gear will come equipped with exclusive access to Theo Rossi, Kurt Sutter, and Katey Sagal.  The interactive app could have me shooting pool with Sutter, hiking with Rossi, and crooning "Misty Blue" with Sagal on the sun drenched isle of Capri.  Pack your bags, 'cause we are hitting the boutiques and spas.  Oh, who am I kidding, I’d be over the moon if my app just accessed Rossi.  Hey — a diva can dream!
