You know what I'm not afraid to admit? Honestly, there are a lot of things that I should be afraid (or at the very least embarrassed) to admit, but in specific this time I'm referencing the fact that I used to watch General Hospital.
Man, there was a time in my life (three of my four years in college) that I would sit and watch that show every single day. It always really upset me though that I was going to school in Baltimore and that they were a day behind with the episodes. I felt like if I was taking time of out my busy schedule (organic chemistry) to watch GH, the least WMAR could do was air it on time.
Okay, that least bit is neither here nor there, but I really wish that when I had been in college there would have been a way for me not to spend an hour every single day watching, that there had been a cable channel that would air all the week's episodes back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back. That would have been truly swell.
Well, it's years later, and someone heard my call. SOAPnet is now in existence and it's like they heard my wish. And now, SOAPnet is doing one better, they're redesigning and relaunching their website. It was swell before, but now, I'm told, it's going to be super-swell, maybe even super-duper-swell, maybe even ultra-super-duper-swell.
