So Janet Jackson will miss the Grammys, well Whoop-de-doo!

Are you as fed up with the Janet Jackson debacle as yours truly? Well there may be justice after all because Janet has been kicked out of the Grammys this year and that's not all. Justin (the groper) Timberlake is also doing some fast backpeddaling over the incident. The fallout has even affected MTV that lost a show at an Orange County, CA, high school because of angry parents. Although unconfirmed, it has even been reported that a Tennessee woman has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all Americans who were allegedly injured by watching the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show.

The Super Bowl flash has caused outrage in the US, with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) chairman Michael Powell saying it was a "classless, crass and deplorable stunt".

Have people overreacted or should we just write it off for the cheap stunt that it was? No matter what your view there is no denying the participants received incalculable free publicity, and isn't that what it is all about?

Jim Carrey's left nipple exposure in 'Cable Guy' didn't cause nearly a stir.
