All these comments are ridiculous about Bo/Carrie/Con fans not wanting to face Nadia or Anwar!!! I am a true BO fan and ALWAYS voted for Anwar and Nadia too!!! They both were exceptional and I do not agree with them being gone!!! Personally IMO Anwar, Bo, Nadia, Jessica, and Vonzell should have been the top 5!!! Only then would this have been a real competition!!!
As far as that dumb website VFTW...they were a big joke and nobody with any sense paid any attention to them anyway!!!

Every year there are people that go home way before they should and at least one person that stays WAY too long - that's just the way it goes, mostly because on the whole the American public doesn't have good taste.
But I did want to address the person asking how any real musician could go on a glorified talent show, the answer is simply, for exposure. Just because you are on AI doesn't mean you don't have talent, it means you're looking for a way to break into the biz, a biz that is almost impossible to break into. It doesn't matter if you're discovered singing in a local bar in dowtown Detroit, or if you're discovered on a nationally televised show, if you've got the goods, you've got the goods - and Kelly and Fantasia both had the goods.

I think that Fantasia is very underrated. She is by far the best thing that has came from AI. Her record sells are good and she is in this for the long haul. You can listen to her album from the beginning to the end without skipping a track. She's like the next Aretha Franklin. Whoever said she couldn't sing doesn't have a clue what singing is. Come on now don't be a hater.

If you want to see singers then go to concerts of the real singers or buy the dvd's of their concert
if you want to see ai singers live then go to any kareoke bar ai should change it up and make the people play a musical instrument and write their own songs do you think stars like john mellencamp would have got through or avril lavine if we had ai in the 60's and 70's we would not have mega stars like neil young or maybe the beatles or crosby stills and nash

yea i would like to say that i dont mind american idol, but when the Idol can vote for them selves that is bull and i cant stand that and one person can vote more than once i dont think thats right. Its just getting getting where i dont even want to watch the show the person i am voting for is chris he is very good the best i ever seen before and he will go far. The person i think is the worst is kelly pickler she needs to go and if she does win she will not make it that far at all thanks!!!!
