The Duke Says - On account of The Duke considers Ken Loach to be a patronizing, useless old fucker, I still haven't seen this here number, nor indeed any flick he's made since My Name Is Joe. Chances are this is half-reasonable, though, being a light-hearted Romeo And Juliet type carry-on, concerning a relationship between a Pakistani fella and his Glasgow lass.

The Duke Says - The likes of Julianne Moore, John Cusack and Gillian Anderson show up in this independent number concerning a night in the life of a cabbie. Like Collateral, except with Tom Cruise replaced by rape victims and arguing couples.

The Duke Says - PBS documentary in which somebody or other wanders around The Duke's Homeland looking for nice stones and cottages and Kings and the like. Probably doesn't mention the crack-dens in Dublin, or the bus-stations in Derry filled with amphetamine riddled teenagers.

Chris, Sword Of Doom is well worth checking out. And yeah, Criterion do a brilliant job. shame they couldn't grab more extras on occasion. Mind you, extras or no, their release of Kwaidan is immaculate. Dig those colors, would you ever?
