Monk: Season Three
This probably isn’t the best season of Monk, but it’s certainly a good one. One drawback is Monk’s attempt to adopt a kid in the last episode, usually a shark-jumping harbinger, but it passes. After the inexplicable departure of Bitty Schram (as Monk’s assistant Sharona) in the middle of the season, it seems the show will be dealt an unbearable blow, but Traylor Howard, late of Two Guys, a Girl, and a Changing Title ably fills in. Sadly, after an intriguing tease at the end of Season Two the overall story arc (the mystery surrounding Monk’s wife’s death) is given treatment only in the first episode of Season Three before it, like Sharona, just goes away.
The Fantastic Four: The Complete Animated Series
Ever wanted to hear Brian Austin Green voice The Human Torch? Here’s your chance. Well, in the first season anyway. His absence in the second, and final, season is made up for by cameos from Daredevil, The Hulk, Ghost Rider, and Thor. Plus intros by Stan Lee. Let’s see the movie version top that!
And here’s the rest, with a couple of nice films to balance out the pabulum.

Sadly, not a film version of the popular 80’s video game I sucked at. According to the synopsis, however, this does involve a “bachelor party cum-caving expedition.” So, I’m in.

great stuff David. a fella chortled himself sideways right there. That comment about the Basinger / Bridges flick got me roaring.
tis indeed a reasonably poor week. I been meaning to see Hide And Seek, mind. And Crossfire is a masterpiece!
great work, man.
