Is American Idol too much of a solo gig for you? Are you looking for a Dancelife, too? Do you have what it takes to make the band? MTV and Diddy are casting now for Making the Band 4, to find the all-male version of Diddy's all-girl group, Danity Kane.
Open call auditions for the show began Wednesday, Jan. 17 in Los Angeles. If you can't make an open casting call, you can post your video auditions online at makingtheband.MTV.com.
Once singing videos are posted, viewers have until Jan. 27 to vote for their favorites. Twenty-five contestants will go on to the second round of the competition, which will be based on a submitted dance video. Viewers will then have until Feb. 6 to vote. Three finalists will audition for Diddy in person.

I am so disappointed in Diddy for not picking Sam. He could have made the show more interesting and diverse, but no, he had to stay lame by reasoning of- “Sam doesn’t fit into the groups visual look” Oh, really but over weight, unattractive, non groomed men do?!?! Only 6 of the 20 men are attractive or unique looking and the rest are waste of space and air time. No wonder Pussy Cat Dolls out sold Danity Kane 5 to 1, and no wonder “Push Play” was slept on. He has lost all sense of what women want and the diverse American public. TAKE A SEAT DIDDY…your reign is coming to an end.
