With the Heart of Gold rumbling to its first destination, I think it’s time to introduce a new character to the ride, the ever not-so-humble truly fantastic creator of the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, Zaphod Beeblebrox. Nature - “Voyage of the Lonely Turtle”. Poor, poor turtle. What must it be like to be a little, lonely turtle. Or, a huge lonely turtle depending on what exact type of turtle you are. I imagine there can be in between types of turtles too.

Masterpiece Classic – "Wallander ‘Sidetracked.’" Did you know that there was such a thing as a scruffy Swedish super sleuth? Well, there is, and his name is “Wallander.” Even better, he’s played by Kenneth Branagh, and everyone likes Kenneth Branagh… everyone. That’s right, you in the back, you like Kenneth Branagh too. Everyone.
10:30 – 11:00PM
From the Top at Carnegie Hall Special Edition – "Rhythm and Strings." Kids these days, they think they can run the world. At the very least, they think that they can play musical instruments. Monday, May 11:
8:00 - 9:00PM
Antiques Roadshow “Hartford (Hour One).” Connecticut – bastion of all that is old and posh, or at least most that is old and posh… okay, some that is old and posh, but the posh is very, very posh. And, why not do it in Hartford. Hartford has television. People like Hartford. It’s no Westport or Greenwich, but people like it.
9:00 – 10:30PM
We Shall Remain: American Experience - “Wounded Knee." The massive multi-part American Experience that PBS has been previewing for months on end is here! It examines in great detail over the course of five 90-minute documentaries the history of this country from the Native-American perspective. This week we get the finale and the taking over of Wounded Knee by American Indian Movement activists.

Josh - thanks for this "public service bulletin" you produce on PBS. I'm especially glad to see NOW and Bill Moyers still running. They are both great magazine format shows.
