Today I was reminded yet again that you don't really 'get' the news unless you watch The Daily Show on Comedy Central. While Jon Stewart may host it from a mildly left-leaning perspective, the show is merciless at going after both parties and all political perspectives at the slightest whiff of hypocrisy or the complacent idiocy which defines 'politics as usual'.…
