Neither feuds, nor tudes, ludes, dudes, or prudes will keep Paris Hilton, 24, AND Nicole Richie, 23, from The Simple Life. Both have been signed to a fourth season of their fish-out-of-water reality show wherein the pampered progenies encounter the little people and attempt to interact with them without causing a rift in the time-space continuum.
FoxTV made the announcement yesterday, which contradicts what petulant Paris has been puffing since April when she announced, "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. I will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did and that's all I am ever going to say about it."
Hilton reportedly tried to convince Fox to recruit Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly Stewart to costar with her on The Simple Life 4. "You know, I've had three great seasons," Hilton said in April. "I love the show, and I just want to freshen it up and make it funnier and bring new things in. It's going to be a big surprise. And everyone is going to be very excited and happy about it."
The survey says, WRONG PARIS. Fox Entertainment President Peter Liguori told reporters The Simple Life's producers would figure out what direction the show would take "when we sit down, come up with a concept and talk to them."
Liguori also said that "to [his] knowledge" the blondes, both now engaged, had not reconsiled their differences. "Both have been picked up, both will be ready for work, and we'll work with it," he said. He also suggested that "given the fact that both Paris and Nicole are engaged and about to be married... there's got to be something in that world" the show can explore.
Hilton is engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis — Paris and Paris — and Richie is betrothed to Adam 'DJ AM' Goldstein.

I do not want to contribute to Paris Hilton's desperate attempt at a career in any way because she's a high school dropout racist skank, but Nicole Richie's kinda of funny for a bimbo broad. She's used the show to move up the celebrity ladder as well -- she traded in Paris for Lindsay Lohan as her best buddy/wacky sidekick now.
The show next season will probably be something dumb about them and their fiances traveling or even competing somehow in some pointless contest that shows how unskilled they are in life.
They'll probably even promo a few commercials of Nicole and Paris calling each other some staged names or something to get ratings.
It's amazing how Paris can look good in one picture and horrible in another. That picture from whatever awards show above (right below the scary "That's Hot" icon) is not flattering -- bad bleached yellow blonde, feathered 70s porn hair, way too much bronzer, unflattering top, and a butter face.
I'm glad her mom's show failed miserably too -- you could see the same stupid gleam in her eye, the desperation for attention and the gaze of the camera. Her mom was way hotter than Paris as a young woman, though, I'll give her that. Almost as dumb too.
Either way, she's an idiot who calls people the N-word for fun.

I watched it the first season. I admit that. Heck, I watched part of the second season. But the third season was FAR too bad for even me.
If they make it about planning their weddings- they have sealed the deal I won't watch it. Gag me now and gauge out my eyes.

I watched the first season and loved it. So I watched the second season, and loved it. I watched the third season, and also loved that one too. Its some richer people trying out what we do everyday! I don't get why people think "Wow, stop acting like stupid bimbos!". They droped out of school and so what. They are acctually getting out of there houses and doing something, how many other celebrities do you see trying things people do everyday. They take there time to try out our jobs and sometimes succeed. I just think its great and people should stop complaining about how "oh so stupid and blonde and ugly" they are because they aren't. Its people like that who are bored of there own life and have to complain about someone elses because theres isn't that bad yet!

Oh... whatever, the show would be better off without Paris. she says she wants to make the show funnier, then she could leave for all i care, because Nicole is the funny one. Paris is so ugly she reminds me of shawn and marlon wayans disguised as white chicks.
i also think that fox made a great decision on bringing both back because the point of the show is about TWO BEST FRIENDS THAT ARE LIKE SISTERS TRYING TO SURVIVE THE SIMPLE LIFE. it wouldnt be the same with somebody ealse.

Nicole totally rocks, and Paris is cool too. Nicole is so beautiful and HILARIOUS! I think she was the star of the simple life. But Paris did screw up when she suggested Kimberly to be her new sidekick. Kimberly Stewart is a skanky slut, she's so ugly and i hate her. That's all!

I absolutly loved all three "the simple life's" they were all uterly fantastic and they were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny i could just watch it for hours and hours. if Paris kicked Nicole out of the show for some kimberly bitch then the show would be so boring and i think they would lose about 80% of there viewers becsue without Nicole Paris is just a DUMB BLONDE that is scared of blood and has a cute dog! but with Nicole she is a hillariously idiotic person and they just make grate t.v one of my favriote lines is

I agree with most of the previous posts. Nicole is the light of the show. As for Paris, well let's not go there. They may be "bimbos" but that is what makes the show. At least thats what made me want to watch it. I couldn't wait to see the next episode, just to see if what they said or did would be more stupid than the episode before. Anyone who doesn't like this slow obviously has no sence of humor. And for those of you who came to write negative things my question to you is: Why even come to this blog? I mean hello? Obviously you liked something about them or the show or you wouldn't be looking for sites and blogs that have to do with them. I Love Simple Life, I hope season 4 is as great as the first three!!! If they should go on without one of them there would be no point in make a 4th season...it's like if they would of done a 11th season of friends and replaced one of the six by another actor!
