Although the people who could have benefited most from this message of love and tolerance clearly missed it, with any luck the idea will resonate with those for whom the film was most intended— the children who may still have a chance to love and accept others despite their differences, and most importantly, to love and accept themselves.

Great article! I saw Paranorman and thought it was an excellent movie. After reading your article I can see the theme of tolerance more clearly, in the movie. I hope that parents can see this movie for what it is, with all the beautiful lessons in it. Maybe they need to read your article to show them the way! :-)

What an amazing article!!! I wish your review could be passed out at the end of the movie. It would make people stop and think. Awesome review:)

Beautifully written article and so accurate in describing the ignorance that is so commonly portrayed from people. Definitely wish those parents and close minded people would read this so they can understand the importance of issues like those described in the article and be POSITIVE role models for their kids and others.

Great article Stephanie!!! I never had an interest to see this movie until now. I wonder if the right wing parent groups are aware of the nursery rhyme " Rub-a-dub-dub 3 men in a tub". What did they really think was going on there???? Lol....keep writing! You are awesome!
