Online Idols Offers Alternative to American Idol, America's Got Talent

Shows like American Idol and America's Got Talent have been successful as result of one thing. Everyone has a dream and these shows offer a select few the chance to showcase their talent for everyone to hear. People like Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken have made millions thanks to these types of shows. Regardless, these privileges are for few, so what happens to the rest of America who wish for their dreams to come true?

All you need is an Internet connection. A new site has just been launched called Online Idols. It offers everything that American Idol and America's Got Talent does, minus the mean British judges, which is probably a good thing.

Obviously, it is pretty hard landing yourself on American Idol or America's Got Talent. Online Idols offers a stage for people to perform their talents. Anyone can vote for their favorite. Three winners are awarded each month. First prize wins 400 dollars. Second prize takes home 200 dollars. Third place is awarded 100 dollars. Easy cash for something you love; plus, you get exposure all over the world. That's the beauty of the Internet. Maybe, just maybe, a talent scout from Hollywood is waiting to sign you up for a multi-million dollar contract.

The thing I really like about Online Idols is everyone has a chance. It’s not just x-amount of people who get to perform their talents in front of millions; everyone gets a chance, good and bad. It's fairer. Sometimes hosts interview people who just auditioned and they complain, "They cut me off!" or "They judged me as soon as I went into the door!" At Online Idols there is no cut off and you can redo it as much as you want.

Did I mention the site was free? So what have you got to lose? Head over to Online Idols now and showcase your talent. Vote for others you think deserve to be recognized for their talent. It's an online site whose only goal is make YOU a star.
