I was so upset when everything I watch on Nickelodeon aired almost no new episodes this summer. Now, granted, I don't watch a lot of things on Nick anymore, but still. October seems to be the month where almost everything is new. Shows that I haven't even heard of have things coming out. Everyone's TiVo will be busy this month.
It all starts on October 13, when Nick.com launches a Halloween mini-site. Now that I'm off dial-up I think I'll check it out. There is a lot of stuff to do: scary videos, scary games, and making "scare-acters." A scare-acter is where kids can take their favorite characters from Nickelodeon and replace body parts. The best ones will be selected and displayed on TV in "Shocktober Halloween Parade" on Wednesday, October 31, 2007.
The thing I'm most looking forward to premieres on October 13 at 8 PM — the second Zoey 101 movie. Actually, it's only an hour with commercials, so it's not even close to an actual movie. I'm so looking forward to a Halloween movie. Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears), Chase (Sean Flynn), Michael (Chris Massey), and Logan (Matthew Underwood) all take economics (in ninth grade?). The teacher's a jerk, so he gives them an impossible exam. One of the former students went crazy at the exam (and the teacher wasn't fired, why?). Somehow, the gang accidentally releases the spirit of the crazy students, and it's up to Zoey and her friends to undo their mistake.
On Sunday, October 14, a Halloween-themed marathon will air from 2-4 PM. Hardly a marathon.
El Tigre and the Adventures of Manny Rivera releases a new episode on Friday, October 19 at 9 PM. Sartana summons an army on the Day of the Dead (got to have ethnic balance...). So she tries to destroy Miracle City. Therefore, Tigre and Frida must stop her, using Tigre's dead ancestors. Now I'm confused. I don't watch this.
Saturday, October 20, is a busy day. While I'm busy taking the PSAT, my TiVo will be taping the new ICarly (IScream on Halloween) at 8. Carly (Miranda Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy), and Freddie (Nathan Kress) move their webshow to a haunted apartment. Estelle Harris (Seinfeld) guest stars.
At 8:30, there's a new episode of the Naked Brothers Band. Nat (Nat Wolff) writes a song, "Run," and they have a haunted theme to it. He convinces his brother (Alex Wolff) that he's an alien.
On the 27th, there's a new episode of Tak and the Power of Juju, another show I haven't heard of. Tak brings his tooth to life. He must stop the tooth from terrorizing people. Chief has been acting strange, which causes people to think he's crazy.
