On November 8, Nickelodeon will air two special premieres — a brand new iCarly movie “iGo To Japan” and the series premiere of Nickelodeon’s newest gem, True Jackson, VP. The first ever iCarly movie is slotted at 8PM ET/PT and True Jackson, VP will air at 9:30 ET/PT. Even cooler, “iGo To Japan” will feature a special performance by the band Good Charlotte. And in this season of True Jackson, VP, there will be guest appearances by skateboarder Ryan Sheckler and Weeds actress Julie Bowen.
In “iGo to Japan,” Carly (Miranda Cosgrove), Sam (Jennette McCurdy), Freddie (Nathan Kress), and Carly’s big brother, Spencer (Jerry Trainor) head to Japan to compete for the world’s best web show. But to do all of this, the teens set off on a crazy and awesome trip involving parachuting from a possum-filled cargo plane, outsmarting rivals, being covered in mud, and figuring out the Japanese language.
“’iGo to Japan’ gives fans more of everything they love about iCarly. It's a big, broad, hilarious romp, loaded with suspense and mess like only Dan Schneider [Zoey 101, Drake and Josh] can deliver," said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming. "It's topped off with a rocking performance by iCarly soundtrack artists Good Charlotte.” Good Charlotte will perform “Where Would We Be Now?”
Coming from a person who has seen the premiere of newest Nickelodeon drama, True Jackson, VP, it’s definitely not to miss. It is amazing and extremely funny. Plus, Blogcritics has exclusive interviews with three of the stars: Keke Palmer, Ashley Argota, and Matt Shively.
As Keke describes it, True Jackson, VP is “about a fifteen-year-old girl [True] that gets a vice president job at a huge fashion company. And now she kind of realizes it’s not that different from high school.” Keke plays True. Matt and Ashley play True’s best friends.
November 8 is a must watch night. Full of laughs and entertainment, it is definitely worth seeing.
